What is Ayurveda?

STEP 3: After that, the hair is steamed for 10 to 40 minutes, depending on the hair type and condition, and then rinsed.

STEP 4: Hair is blow dried and then keratin lotion is applied.

STEP 5: A flat iron is used by a salon expert to further straighten the hair and remove the remaining curls. This is done until the hair is satisfactorily straight and shiny.

STEP 6: Hair is then parted and a neutraliser is applied for a minimum of 30 minutes. It is then rinsed off with cold water. The neutraliser is used to set the bonds and stabilise the hair.

STEP 7: Hair is blow dried once again, a post which hair serum is applied.

A final ironing session is done with the straightening iron, at the end of which the hair will appear silky, straight and shiny.
